I was recently updating my running playlist, and discovered that I have over 225 songs on there. Since I'm always searching for new songs to workout to, I thought I'd start posting lists here that people can use if they need some inspiration!
The majority of the songs have a fast tempo, but occasionally I use some slow songs or ballads. The reason for this is because I frequently listen to a slow song during my cooldown, and I have also had periods during my training where I'm trying to slow my pace down in order to increase my mileage, so I often use slow songs to do that. In this case, I'll make a note any time there is a slow song in my list, so you can skip over it if you'd like.
There is almost no dance or techno music, very little rap or R&B, a bit of country, a smidge of Broadway musical soundtracks, and A LOT of Pop and 80's music.
Enjoy! I hope someone can use this!

ReplyDeleteFantastic! Let me know if you create one! It's actually supposed to be 100 items... but I ran out of ideas. I figured I could keep adding to it over the next 5 years, right?
ReplyDeleteCan I tell you what I want? What I really really want? ;)
ReplyDeletePS: Dancing Queen is on my list of "feel good instantly after a craptastic day" songs. It's a good one!
