Color me red, white, and BLUUUE!!

I have voted.  Cast my ballot.  Made my voice heard.  Done my duty as an American.

It was pretty anti-climactic, given the major controversies in both the Presidential Election and the CA Propositions.  While I would like to say that I voted for Ralph Nader, I'm afraid I didn't.  Obama needed my vote, so I gave it to him.  I just saw WAY too many McCain/Palin signs in Orange County when I was visiting a couple of weeks ago, and decided to do my part to keep California blue!!

If you aren't voting absentee, make sure you vote on Tuesday, November 4th.  Write it in your planner.  Schedule it in your Blackberry.  Enter it in your iPhone.  Tell your boss that you need to leave for a while and head to the polls (by law, they have to let you!).  Don't blow this one off- it's one of the biggest elections of all time.  At the risk of sounding cheesy, this is your chance to be a part of history, and when Barack Obama becomes the first black president, you'll be able to tell your grandchildren that YOU helped get him there!

What the heck, I don't mind being cheesy.  I'm from Wisconsin.

  1. Great job! I'm so looking forward to Tuesday. This will be my first time voting in California! I was away in college in 2000 and 2004...in the VERY red state of Alabama. I can say that I voted for Gore in 2000...but b/c of the electoral college, it didn't really matter at all. Hmph. So glad to be back to BLUUUUE :)
