Done! Wow, it really should not take 9 months to clean some silver jewelry, right?

(One of my favorite pieces- and the first Tiffany necklace Scott bought me when we started dating.)

I'm really wishing that I had taken before and after pics of this task, but... well, I'm not sure I would have wanted to post them anyway. My jewelry looked REALLY bad after we came back from our honeymoon in Hawaii- I blame the sea air on Kauai. :)

I let it all sit on my dresser for months, terrified that I would ruin it if I tried to clean it myself, and not willing to pay to have it all cleaned professionally. So what magical steps did I take to finally do it? Um.... I picked up some silver cleaner at Target and spent a Sunday afternoon cleaning my jewelry. That's it. Hmm. 9 months.

Here's the stuff- highly recommended if you ever come back from Hawaii with damaged goods!
