New Feature: Purple's Stars

I used to scoff at blogs... I didn't like them and didn't know how in the world I was supposed to keep up with so many updates (that was back in the day when I was reading a certain wedding blog that updated 316 times a day, but which will remain nameless because I've blacklisted it). In short, I was WAY too busy and important to be surfing all day for blog updates. *insert eye roll here*

Well, I am now the proud follower of 56 different blogs (by the time you read this, it will likely be over 60), all of which I read on Google Reader. Google Reader! Haven't heard of it? It's fantastic! A specific feature allows users to *star* a blog post that they want to hold onto... much like bookmarking or flagging it.

One blog I follow is Playing House, and the authoress over there does a great weekly recap of the blog posts she has starred for the week- she calls it "Seeing Stars." With her permission, I'm going to start a weekly feature of my own, sharing my starred posts for the week! I can't wait to share with you all the great blogs I've been reading!
